FOUNDER
Educational Background
Michel Abou Chacra
Born on January 18, 1956 at Chekka, North of Lebanon. By his parents punctuality and etiquette values and performance in their fields he was impressed, thus influenced him to take Bachelor of Science in Interior Design as college degree. Now, he is the founder and president of his "Interior Design Company, serving UAE for almost 30 years, with outstanding and remarkable .interior and architectural design and project handling for both private and public.
Abou Chacra attended INBA (Institute National des Beaux Arts) in Lebanon, where he took Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. He finished his degree in year 1982, with the diploma of SM Hotel Resort. This project consist interior design for the entire hotel, from the lobby area, the rooms, suites, ballrooms, night clubs, restaurants, and private theatre up to the landscape, swimming pools, spa and physiotherapy clinics. Gaining a positive feedback from panelist and hotel owners, this project was executed in 1982 and became his first career experience.

In year 1983, Abou Chacra accepted the invitation of a well known family in UAE to become their private interior designer for 4 luxury residential villas as family project and run their wood workshop in Sharjah. He managed and insisted the discipline in the execution and implementation of his design in the project. With excellent performance in accomplishing the task, it gave him the chance to be skilled in carpentry details execution, factory management and interacting with carpenters, technicians and traders.
In year 1986, he decided to work and settle in the UAE grabbing the opportunity for exploring the market for interior decoration materials. He also stand as representative in local market for foreign companies to participate at local tendering. After 4 years of enhancing his knowledge and experience in designing, execution and marketing fields, he ventured out and created his own company which is now known as CASAMIA INTERIOR DESIGN.
Present
Michel Abou Chacra is still continuing his passion and legacy in designing and enhancing his company, Casamia Interior Design LLC training new designers and mentoring university students. By the new technologies and competing the field of designing, Michel Abou Chacra was able to sculpt his name and remains in the heart of the people thru his attitude and professionalism at work in dealing with every situation. His willingness to share his knowledge and ideas in every decorative and technical aspect, his flexibility with regard to the client needs and budget. With all the positive traits and skilled on interacting with people Abou Chacra provides a consulting and project management service within his company and has contacts of reliable contractors and suppliers to date.
